Course
Half Marathon Course Overview
The Divas will all run a lap in beautiful Eisenhower Park as family and friends grow the excitement of the place to a fevered pitch sending the runners off with a huge farewell as the participants exit the park at Merrick Avenue North. They will head south before making a right turn on Charles Lindbergh Blvd, running a loop through the Nassau County Hub, passing Nassau County landmarks including RXR’s Omni Building, Museum Row, the Mitchell Athletic Complex & home to the New York Islanders, the Nassau Coliseum. Half marathon participants will turn left onto Merrick Avenue heading north to Old Country Road. After making a right onto Old Country Road and heading to Salisbury Park Drive, while getting “hyped” by the bands and the “Diva stations”, they will turn into the park and finish parallel to Park Road in front of thousands of cheering on-lookers and being given a medal, rose, and a flute of champagne by one of the cities “hunks”.

Spectator Tips
Being a spectator and a cheerleader for your favorite diva runner is a great way to be part of this event! There's plenty for residents and visitors to see and enjoy along the course. But just as the runners take time to prepare for this event, you can also prepare and plan ahead for a memorable experience:
- Review the course map and plan your route. With 5,000 runners it may be difficult, and at some times impossible, to cross the course during the race, even on foot.
- Know your runner’s expected pace per mile so you will know when he or she will be at the different locations on the course.
- Move around on bicycle or skates (minding all street closures) and surprise your runner at different locations on the route,
- Make sure you bring a beach chair or blanket, horns, signs and a great attitude to have fun and become a cheerleader.
