Parking
The start/finish line has absolutely no on-site parking so all participants driving in will need to park in 1 of 2 locations as follows:
HYATT REGENCY (700 spots only)
1333 Bayshore Highway
Burlingame, CA 94010
COST - $4.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for each additional hour (cash or credit card)
SHUTTLES – None - .36 miles away from race site so participants will park and walk down Bayshore Highway toward Bayside Park
IMPORTANT - This is garage will fill up very early since it only has 700 spots. Plan to arrive with enough time in case this garage is full and you need to drive to the San Mateo Event Center which is located 6 miles from race site.

COST - $15.00 Flat Rate
SHUTTLES – YES – last shuttle leaves to the start at 7:00am (this location is 6 miles away from race site)
IMPORTANT – In order to shuttle all participants to the start for an on-time arrival, we recommend that you arrive between 5:00am and 6:30am. Participants arriving after 6:30am may not make the start on time. And due to course time restrictions we cannot allow any participants to start the race after the official start time. Last shuttle to the start will depart at 7:00am. Return shuttles will begin service at 8:15am with last shuttle departing at 11:30am

Divas Coat Check (Gear Check)
All participants may check their gear at the Finish in the Runners' Gear Check Area, which is located just a short jog away from the Start Line at Bayside Park. Just follow the signs from the Shuttle Dropp Off to the GearChack and then Start. Gear check drop off will be open at 6:15am.
The Diva Backpack given to you at packet pick up should be used as your Diva gear bag. Tear the gear check tag from your bib number and attach with the zip tie supplied. To claim your Diva Gear bag, show your bib number to the Coat Check Volunteer. Both the bib number and the number attached to the bag MUST match.
ALL BAGS MUST BE CLAIMED BY 11:30 PM. Bags not claimed after 14 days will be disposed. Please do not leave valuables, cash or jewelry in the Diva Gear Bags. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Start Corrals
The corral system assures a smooth and safe start by lining up participants of similar pace in the same area. Participants with a time of 1:35 or faster in the half marathon distance, who can send proof prior to April 19, 2012, will qualify for the seeded corral up front. Other participants are asked that they line up according to their estimated finishing time. Large signs indicating these paces will be displayed throughout the start line corral. Please be courteous and look for the area that fits your pace best. Paticipants will be able to enter their corral beginning at 7:00 AM. Only participants are allowed in the start line corrals. This will make your start quicker and your run more enjoyable.
To apply for the seeded corral, please email proof of a time of 1:35 or faster in a half marathon race to us prior to April 19, 2012.

Bayside Park

Race central is located right on the bay at Bayside Park. The start will take place right on Airport Blvd heading south towards Coyote Park and it will skirt the bay along the way coming right back to Bayside Park. The Start Line opens at 7:00 A.M. on race day. There will be water and Gatorade sports drink.

Once you finish running, let us pamper you like a Diva! As you cross the finish line, lose yourself in the feeling of accomplishment. A handsome firefighter will crown your accomplishment with the most Diva-like medal out there, toast it with a glass of champagne and celebrate it with a rose because you are beautiful and powerful and you have just done something not many people can do!!! You are a running Diva! Relish the feeling and the moment with all your Divas sisters and friends. And as you begin to come down from that heavenly feeling of accomplishment, dance the day away at the dance hall, where handsome young men from the local dance schools will sweep you off your feet and glide with you at the finish line dance hall. Today is your day Miss Diva! Enjoy, you are a QUEEN for a day and everyone is looking at you!!!! |

Age Groups and Awards
Awards will be given to top 3 Overall Female participants and custom mdeals will be awarded 3 deep in each age group division of the Divas Half Marathon® and Girls 5K as follows:
Female Awards in the following categories for the half marathon and the 5K:
- Ages 14 & Under
- Ages 15-19
- Ages 20-24
- Ages 25-29
- Ages 30-34
- Ages 35-39
- Ages 40-44
- Ages 45-49
- Ages 50-54
- Ages 55-59
- Ages 60-64
- Ages 65-69
- Ages 70-74
- Ages 75+
- Ageless (shhh, we will not tell anyone how old you are)
Male participants are only eligible for awards in the 5K and these will only be awarded as top 3 overall.
The Awards Ceremony for top 3 and Award Collection for Age Groups will take place at 10:00 AM at the Finish Line Party. If you are not present to collect your award and you want us to send you the award by mail, please download the Awards Claim Form and send it in with the appropriate fee for shipping and handling. Awards will only be available within 4 months of the event. Please note that awards are issued based on chip time.
