Can I get a refund/Can I transfer my registration to another location or to another person? I am injured/sick/etc. and cannot run.

We adhere to the standard marathon running industry policy. All entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event location or another person. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, illness, pregnancy, etc. This is noted on our registration application, and when you register for any of our events you must agree to this policy. You may not give or sell your number to another individual – if you do this could result in your disqualification as well as the runner who uses your race number.

You are allowed to defer your half marathon registration for one (1) year for the same event location. We do not offer deferrals for 5K events. In order to defer your half marathon registration to the following year, you must complete an Event Deferral Form and pay a deferral fee. All deferral forms must be received one month prior to the event. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Once registration opens for the following year, you will be sent a code via email to register online with free of charge. NOTE: it is your responsibility to register yourself for the next year's event. If for some reason the event is not continued at the original location, you will not receive a refund; you will be ask to choose from another Divas event.

In the event you cannot participate at all and do not want to defer to the following year, you can complete a Cancellation Form. By canceling your registration you won’t receive a refund, but we will send you the race shirt after the race. Medals are not sent to those who do not actually complete the course. We must receive your completed cancellation form at least one week prior to the event date. If your written cancellation is received after that date, we will not be able to process it.

How can we register as a group?

In order to be eligible to form a group, you must have a minimum of 10 members participating in the half marathon. As a group, members will receive $5 off the half marathon (cannot be applied during the first week of event registration when blitz pricing is available). We do not offer group discounts for the 5K.

Once we receive a completed Group Registration form, we will create a custom coupon code for your team members to register online with. Each group member will need to register themselves online since there is a waiver that needs to be agreed to. We do not hold spots for group members, so group members will be not able to register after an event has sold out. Also, we will not give discounts to those group members who may have already registered for the event prior to the creation of the group discount code.

Group registration forms must be received at least 1 month before the event date. If it is received after this date, we will not be able to process it. Also, it may take up to 5 business days to process your form so we suggest submitting it at least 1 week before any scheduled price increases; if the prices go up before the discount code is created, you will not be refunded for any differences in price.

Are the events walker-friendly?

You are more than welcome to walk in any of our events. However we do have a 3.5 hour course time limit for most of our half marathons which translates to a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile.

Do the 5Kers receive the same things as the half marathoners?

The 5Kers receive the same amenities as the half marathoners for the most part. Both will receive women's fit tech tees as well as finisher medals (however the half marathon medal is a bit larger). All participants get to run by the boa and tiara station before the finish line and everyone will receive flowers, bubbly and food at the finish line.

Are men allowed to register?

Although we are a female-focused event, we do allow men to participate in both the half marathon and the 5K. Male participants are not eligible for awards in the half marathon and will only be awarded the top 3 overall in the 5K. Also, we do not offer men's fit tech tees.

Can I run with a baby stroller/jogger?

We do not allow strollers in the half marathon. Jogging strollers are allowed in the 5K but we ask that you start at the back for the safety of the child as well as the other participants.

I am registered for the 5K. Can I upgrade to the half marathon?

You are more than welcome to upgrade from the 5K to the half marathon as long as there is space available and you have paid the difference in price.

If the event is more than 14 days away, contact us at info@runlikeadiva.com to switch your registration. If the event is less than 14 days away, you will have to make the switch in person at the Health & Fitness Boutique at the Registration/ Solutions desk.

I am registered for the half marathon. Can I switch to the 5K?

We can certainly switch you from the half marathon to the 5K as long as there is space available. Please note we do not refund for the difference in price.

If the event is more than 14 days away, contact us at info@runlikeadiva.com to switch your registration. If the event is less than 14 days away, you will have to make the switch in person at the Health & Fitness Boutique at the Registration/ Solutions desk.

What are the age limits?

We ask that participants be at least 12 years old to participate in the half marathon and 8 years old for the 5K. However we do allow those younger than these ages to participate as long as they have a parent/guardian with them AT ALL TIMES. The parent/guardian must also be registered for the race.

I cannot attend the Health & Fitness Boutique. Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

Packets MUST be picked up at the Health & Fitness Boutique (except for our Special Edition half marathon in Temecula). This is highlighted on the first page of online registration so please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

We request that all our participants pick up their own race packets for security purposes. However, we do understand that certain circumstances may arise where you cannot come in person.

If you cannot pick up your race packet yourself, someone else can pick it up for you. In order for them to do so, they MUST have the following items with them:

  1. A copy of your photo ID, and
  2. A Packet Pick Up Authorization Form  (completed and signed by you)

Remember - there is NO race day pickup.

We are unfortunately unable to mail packets ahead of time since all packet materials (race bibs, t-shirts, Diva bags, etc.) are shipped directly to the packet pick up site the day before.

I completed a race and my timing/results are incorrect, who should I contact to fix this?
If you have any questions or concerns about timing/results, please contact the timing company via email at GRaceMgt@aol.com. Please put the name of your race in the subject line.

What is your participant t-shirt sizing like?
Our participant shirts are women's fit technical t-shirts. They are more fitted than a normal unisex tech-tee. Depending on your comfort level, some people prefer to order 1 size up. However, if you like a snugger fit, you may want to order according to your normal size.  Please see below for the manufacturer's sizing chart:

Can I wear headphones during the race?

We do allow the use of headphones during our races however we ask that you either 1. run with one earpiece in and one out or 2. listen at a low volume so you can hear any directions given to you along the course.
